Starz television programme Power has shut down production following the death of a crew member on location, Deadline has reported.
Production assistant Pedro Jimenez, 63, was killed after being hit by a Ford Explorer early in the morning while preparing a shooting site for series six of the American drama programme.
Jiminez was later pronounced dead in hospital.
The accident took place in the streets of Brooklyn, where Jimenez was reserving spaces for trailers and equipment trucks belonging to the production crew, according to Deadline.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of the members of our Power family,” a Starz representative told Deadline. “Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimenez’s family as we work to fully understand what has happened."
It is not currently known when production for Power will resume.
