WHAT'S NEW - First Option courses accredited under the ScreenSkills Production Safety Passport Scheme

First Option courses accredited under the ScreenSkills Production Safety Passport Scheme

The Production Safety Passport (PSP) is an industry-led scheme to support the mutual recognition of health and safety training in the creative media industries. The scheme helps productions stay safe by ensuring crew and management have quality training, enabling delegates with the confidence that they are benchmarked by industry-approved health and safety training.

ScreenSkills have worked with the industry to create the Health and Safety Framework, an agreement across sectors outlining which qualifications or training courses are needed for priority production roles. It means that the training and qualifications you complete with one employer will be recognised and valued by your next employer.

Upon successfully completing this programme, delegates will gain a PSP certificate via the ScreenSkills website which employers can use to verify their level of training - this is valid for 5 years. Further details of the PSP can be found here.

We are delighted to announce that the following First Option courses have been successfully accredited under the PSP scheme:

These courses join First Option’s ever-growing list of accredited training courses, including: Safe Management of Outside Broadcast, Safe Management of Stunts, Health and Safety for Location Managers.
