This course is for anyone designated as Fire Marshal/Warden who is allocated to fire safety responsibilities in the prevention of fires and implementing orderly fire evacuations should a fire occur.
Designed for all staff designated as “Fire Warden” or “Fire Marshal”. This course has been designed to ensure that attendees achieve a thorough awareness and understanding of the threat posed by fire, their personal responsibility in preventing an outbreak and the action to be taken should a fire occur.
Learning Type: Classroom (option to add practical extinguisher training) *Our pre-scheduled courses do not include practical extinguisher training.

Course Content
Fire Marshall/Warden Training is essential to ensure that employees who are designated as a Fire Wardens or Fire Marshalls understand their role and their duties within The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This course incorporates both the theoretical and practical* aspects of Fire Warden/Marshal training, including:
- Fire Legislation
- Common Causes of Fire and their prevention
- Safety Features Within Buildings
- Fire Risk Assessment (as a Fire Warden Role)
- Peoples behaviour in fire situations
- What to do in Case of Fire (including use of Fire Extinguishers)
- Safe Evacuation of Premises
- Action at Assembly Points
*Our pre-scheduled courses do not include practical extinguisher training.
Aims & Objectives:
To enable employers to meet their statutory insurance obligations and to protect staff and property under current fire safety legislation, i.e. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Qualifications
Fire Warden/Fire Marshal certificate, valid for 3 years.
